With a population of 78.5 million, Iran is the most second most populous country in the Middle East after Egypt. DKT established a branch office in Iran in 2014 with the goal of providing high quality, reasonably priced contraceptives through the private sector.

DKT Iran launched its first product, the Pregna IUD in May 2016 and launched Fiesta condom line, which come in eight varieties – classic, dotted, pomegranate, strawberry dotted, full pleasure, delay, energy delay and ice energy delay. The Fiesta brand targets young, middle-class Iranians. A second condom brand, which is still in the planning stages, will target lower-income Iranians. DKT Iran will introduce more contraceptive products in the coming years and will increase access to reproductive health products and services across the country.
